Huge rematches, first main event of 2006 set, more

We learned today that MAX's next PPV will be on December 27th and will be titled Final Combat 2005. The card:

MAX "FINAL COMBAT 2005", 12/27/05 (PPV)
1. Kikutaro vs Masa Genjin
2. Memory Unit BT vs N-GEN & Devil Mitsu
3. Terry Jaa, Super Warrior Snake, Super Warrior Beast & Kazushi Miyamoto vs KAZU, Dan Eaton, T-800 & Hannibal Kong
4. Steven Simpson & Steve Corino (ZERO-ONE MAX) vs David Wright & Masato Tanaka (ZERO-ONE MAX)
5. MAX World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Tiger Hero (c) vs RAVE
6. Hiromichi Takada vs Kazunari Murakami (BIG MOUTH LOUD)
7. MAX World Heavyweight Title: Katsuyori Shibata (c) (BIG MOUTH LOUD) vs Genichiro Tenryu

The first main event of 2006 is set to be:

MAX World Heavyweight Title: Winner of Shibata/Tenryu (c) vs Hiromichi Takada

So we have a big rematch this year in RAVE vs Tiger Hero and another possible big rematch next year in Shibata versus Takada. Of course, we could also see the first ever meeting of Takada and Tenryu.
It's believed that if TOKYO DARK loses at TOTAL ELIMINATION and FINAL COMBAT 2005, they won't make it until 2006. There's talk that they may even split before FINAL COMBAT. There has also been some rumblings that Voodoo-Murders could be planning to come to MAX. It will be interesting to see whether KAZU (and TOKYO DARK if it's still around) aligns with Voodoo-Murders or maybe even becomes their enemy. There's also a big rumor that Great Muta might tag or face Devil Mitsu.

MAX "TOTAL ELIMINATION", 12/2/05 (TV)
1. Total Elimination - MAX vs. TOKYO DARK: Hiromichi Takada, Tiger Hero, Super Warrior Snake, Super Warrior Beast & RAVE vs KAZU, Devil Mitsu, Hannibal Kong, T-800 & N-GEN
2. BIG MOUTH LOUD: Katsuyori Shibata vs Kazunari Murakami

MAX "RING WARS", 11/15/05 (PPV)

A huge night for Pro-Wrestling MAX! The night started with a surprise as both Unit B & Unit T were victorious. TOKYO DARK's cold streak continued as N-GEN & Devil Mitsu were defeated by All Japan's Kazushi Miyamoto & David Wright. Another surprising defeat as KAZU lost to Terry Jaa. Jaa is trained in both pro-wrestling and and various fighting styles including Muay-Thai Kickboxing. A native of Thailand, Jaa was obviously inspired by movie star, Tony Jaa as Terry Jaa is of course, not his real name. Next was another shocker, as RAVE lost his Jr. title to Tiger Hero after only one defense. Steven Simpson also continued his losing streak, but somewhat made up for his quick lose to Genichiro Tenryu in a hard fought match against Masato Tanaka. Simpson controlled most of the match, but Tanaka was able to come back and pick up the victory. Tenryu got another big win by defeating Steve Corino. A title shot has to be in Tenryu's future. Super Warriors got their revenge on Dan Eaton by knocking him out cold at around the 22 minute mark in their tag team match. Eaton was taken out on a stretcher and T-800 was forced to take on both Super Warriors for the remainder of the match. TOKYO DARK is demanding a rematch due to T-800 basically being in a handicap match. The main event was also a shocker to say the least. Hiromichi Takada didn't get one successful defense as he was beaten by his previous tag team partner, Katsuyori Shibata. Shibata agreed with everyone else and said that Tenryu should be the next to challenge. It won't be on the next card though, as that is already set. MAX will take on TOKYO DARK in a 5 on 5 elimination series. The winner of each fall will have to stay and take on another competitor until there's only one left standing. The main event is set to be a special BIG MOUTH LOUD match with Shibata getting a rematch against Kazunari Murakami.

2. Unit T beat Masa Genjin (8:25) with an enzugiri.

5. MAX World Junior Heavyweight Title: Tiger Hero beat RAVE (c) (16:00) with a tiger suplex hold to become the 2nd champion.
