MAX "CONQUEST", 10/25/05 (PPV)

Kikutaro & Curry Man versus Memory Unit BT started as a comedic match, but actually ended up as a very good competitive contest. TOKYO DARK's win in the six man tag could have been the start of their dominance, but they continue to fall as the leader, KAZU lost to Tiger Hero. KAZU went crazy backstage, throwing chairs around the press area. The second straight loss came when N-GEN failed to take the MAX World Jr. Heavyweight title from RAVE. Next for TOKYO DARK was the unsuccessful debut of Devil Mitsu, who lost to ZERO-ONE MAX star, Masato Tanaka. Genichiro Tenry finally got his revenge for his loss to Steven Simpson in the MAX World Heavyweight title tournament. Tenryu dominated Simpson and locked on the WAR Special. Simpson was eventually forced to quit as he couldn't break the hold and the referee would stop the match anyway. The night closed with MAX World Heavyweight champion and XJPW member, Hiromichi Takada & BIG MOUTH LOUD's Katsuyori Shibata getting a surprise non-title win over the Super Warriors. Shibata challenged his tag team partner to a title match after the main event and it was immediately accepted.

They announced that they are forming their own stable within MAX called X-Japan Pro-Wrestling or XJPW. MAX World Heavyweight Title Tournament (10/9/05) (TV)

Pro-Wrestling MAX has a World Heavyweight Champion! The first match looked to be a classic, but turned sour in the end when Steven Simpson attacked Genichiro Tenryu with a chair as referee Tommy Lloyd was down on the mat hurt from a missed attack. When Lloyd got up, Simpson hit his 150 (brainbuster variation) and pinned Tenryu. The crowd was not happy to say the least. Dan Eaton easily beat Jim Steele in the second match and Steele isn't expected back in MAX due to his poor performance. The debuting Hiromichi Takada was able to defeat Masato Tanaka in an exciting match that featured many strikes and submission holds. Steve Corinio also beat newcomer David Wright in what was another back and forrh match. Simpson then beat Eaton much the same way he beat Tenryu. This time the referee was there to see the attack, but Lloyd didn't disqualify Simpson. Instead, he continued a 5 count and Simpson was able to drop the weapon and hit the 150 for the controversial win. Next up, Takada continued to look impressive as he defeated Steve Corino, beating both ZERO-ONE MAX members. Dan Eaton did come out with the Super Warriors, but to the shock of everyone, he sided with TOKYO DARK, distracting the referee when the Super Warriors had the advantage. Eaton is of course, TOKYO DARK's newest member. A furious Snake made Kong submit to the STF. KAZU then introduced another member of TOKYO DARK, a masked man named N-GEN. He said he is everything that RAVE isn't and is apparently going to be RAVE's first challenger. Then was the moment everyone was waiting for, the finals to determine the new MAX World Heavyweight champion. Surprisingly, Simpson didn't resort to using a chair, but he maybe should have as Takada was able to take him down and land vicious punches to the back of Simpson's head. The punches were unanswered and the referee stopped the match. An overjoyed Takada was presented with the title after the match as he was crowned champion and ace of Pro-Wrestling MAX.

They also expressed interest in him possibly joining up with them. KAZU said backstage that the 4th member of TOKYO DARK will be revealed at the heavyweight title tournament, but he will not compete as he is a junior heavyweight. The very first night of Pro-Wrestling MAX was an event to crown the first ever MAX Jr. Heavyweight champion. Tiger Hero was expected to win the tournament so fans were shocked when he lost to TOKYO DARK member RAVE in the opening match. In the second night, KAZU absolutely destroyed the caveman from the mountains and ended up finishing him off with the Darkness DDT. The title match was set to be the leader of TOKYO DARK, Kazu versus the first member, RAVE. RAVE was able to finish KAZU off with the Overdose (spinning headscissors into a pin). 2. KAZU beat Masa Genjin (4:25) with the Darkness DDT.
